The MP7 is a new Gas Blowback . It has a selector switch which allows safe, semi automatic, or fully automatic fire. Load up the magazine, insert it into the rifle, pull the charging handle and you’re ready to rock. Every time you pull the trigger, the gun will fire and cycle the bolt, accurately replicating the real firearm. On the last round, the bolt will lock back, letting you know it’s time to insert another magazine.
Externally the MP7 is packed full of features. It has a telescoping stock which can fully collapse to allow the gun to be used like a pistol. There is a single picatinny rail on top of the gun that runs the entire length. Mounted on the rail are detachable iron sights that can be used as a low profile sight when folded down, or flipped up for a higher sight that is designed to pair with a red dot sight. There are also 4 sling mount points allowing for single point or 2 point slings for left or right handed shooters.
As with all gas blowback guns, they do need regular cleaning and basic maintenance to keep them in top notch firing condition. It’s essential that you clean your barrel and clean and lubricate the critical components as described in your owners manual. We recommend using Slip 2000 Airsoft Lubricant to maintain your rifle. When you are done using the gun for the day, make sure your magazine has a slight amount of gas inside the magazine – this will keep just enough pressure to keep the seals snug. Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendation for storing your rifle in a cool dry place that is out of direct sunlight.
