These hardened pinion gears are specific to O Type motor shafts that DO NOT have the flat location on the motor shaft for the grub screw.
These are the direct replacement for the Pinion on the Option No 1 brushless motors.
This O-type Steel Pinion gear is well known for its strength and affordability. SHS pinions have been used extensively, and users find that they mesh well with most Gear sets. If you own an SHS gearset, you can be sure that this pinion will mesh well.
This O-type pinion gear can be pressed onto O-type and D-type shafts. Green loctite (for press-fit shafts) is recommended ensure that the pinion is secure.
