Aztech Steel Spring retainerare designed to work in all Aztech Scythe gearbox variants with the 4 lug locking tab.
Hollow through the centre to allow adjustment of the Aztech Accu-Port piston head.
A 2 piece design to allow installation of the stainless steel thrust bearing and plates. Much more stable than 2 lug designduring spring compressions. The 2 parts are threaded together and assembled with a Loctite 222 compound so it can be removed when needed.
Quad locking lug for maximum strength and positive position lock to eliminate torque and twist.

Very solid bit of kit. Just installed it into the scythe gearbox in my APS, and the different in quality between the stock APS part and Aztech retainer is beyond impressive. Does exactly as it says, keeps the spring from twisting which should improve the life of it, and the 4 lugs lock perfectly into the back of the gearbox. Using an APS I don’t need the buttstock thread, but I can see it perfectly machined and ready to use.
