For maximum reliability every AEG gearbox should be tuned.
Unfortunately factory assembly staff are not able to perfectly tune gears for correct alignment and meshing, pistons are not set to the correct angle of engagement (AOE) with the gear.
This includes:
-Gearbox Radius
-Gears re-shimmed
-Gears correctly greased
-Sorbo pad add to cylinder head
-Angle of engagement corrected
-Viton O ring installed and lubricated
-Motor Height adjusted and loctited
Please note there is 3 different options to choose from, APS V2, CYMA V2 and APS V3.
All parts used are the same, but variances occur which means some are better than other from the factory.
This service pays for our technicians to open the gearbox, re shim the gears, add a sorbo pad and correct AOE of the piston, plus we will radius the front internal corners of the cylinder housing to great extend the life span of the cast metal gearbox.
Radius cutsare a vital part of any cast metal gearbox build. Rounding off a sharp 90 degree inner apex of a corner removes the fracture point that is a vital part of engineering design and massively reduces the chance of cracking.
This service does not cover a comprehensive gearbox build that may take a few hours to complete. This is a tune up of factory parts for massively improving reliability from standard.

This service will add up 3 days to the picking and packing of your order as our technicians will need to complete the work prior to shipping.
PLEASE NOTE: this service means our technicians have opened the receiver and taken it apart. As a result you may find the take down pins, nuts bolts and screws may have some paint worn off, wear or marksshowing on or around the receiver from handling and being worked on as a result of using tools to work on the blaster. While we take every care we can to try and keep the blaster in as new condition, marks are inevitable when opening a blaster.
